My Turkmen family came from Tashkent. I was the only one born and raised on Sakhalin Island. Japan was just across the water. Our New Year table had dishes like: manty and plov (turkmenian), medovik (russian), onigiri (japanese) and pyanse (korean). None of this felt contradictory. It did make context impossible to ignore.

I started in front-end, moved into product design, and eventually realised I cared most about why we were moving the rectangles in the first place. Research won. Today, I research complex B2B systems at Xsolla along with the biggest game publishers like Kabam, Warner Bros, Epic Games etc.

London is my home now. The dry humour, restraint and weather feel oddly familiar. Away from work, I like hikes, heavy music, v60 coffee, photography and my two cats.
